Specific Terms and Conditions
- Introduction:
- The Comics Creator Championship (“Championship”) is conducted by ICA (“Conducting Agency”) on behalf of WAVES (“Event Organizer”).
- By participating in the Championship, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Eligibility:
- The Championship is open to amateur and professional comic artists.
- Amateur artists are those who have never published a comic in digital or physical format, except for personal social media posts with no substantial reader base.
- Professional artists are those with published comic-related works in digital or physical format, or those with a substantial fan following or working on commission.
- Participants must self-certify their category and may be disqualified for providing false information.
- There is no age limit for participants.
- Teams of up to two people are allowed, but both team members must register and agree to these terms.
- Copyright and Ownership:
- The copyright of all work developed during the Championship will rest with WAVES.
- By participating, you assign all rights, title, and interest in your work to WAVES.
- Originality and Plagiarism:
- All work submitted must be original and created by the participant(s).
- Plagiarism or infringement of others’ work will result in disqualification.
- Judging and Winning:
- The Championship will be judged by industry experts appointed by ICA.

- Decisions of the judges are final and binding.
- Prize Distribution:
- If a team wins, the prize money will be divided equally between the two team members, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

- Any other reason deemed necessary by ICA or WAVES
Content Guidelines
- Prohibited Content:
- No content shall be submitted that is:
- Illegal or promotes illegal activities
- Pornographic or sexually explicit
- Defamatory or libelous
- Racist, sexist, or discriminatory
- Promotes hate speech or violence
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Considered spam or self-promotional
- ICA and WAVES reserve the right to reject any content that violates these guidelines.
